Join Innovation Outreach and Technical.ly for the first I/O Tech Fest! 

Geared towards high school students and educators, this showcase will feature a variety of interactive demo tables to inspire students to get excited about technology, science and innovation. 

Some cool things to expect (and more to come):

  • Zip Code I/O
  • Code Differently
  • Microsoft
  • Drive and race robots with Razor Steel Robotics team
  • Try Algebra by Hand! An app providing students advanced procedural fluency with simplifying expressions, expanding expressions, solving linear equations, and more
  • Test your dexterity by playing a few rounds of Shapes the Game
  • Experience a 360-degree VR experience created by Drexel ACE Lab
  • Play games "inspired by the beautiful and the challenging" crafted by Quadratron Games
  • Learn how to build a game that stimulates startup life with OpenForge 
  • Uncover the secrets of a world lost in shadow by playing Sole built by Gossamer Games 
  • Explore virtual reality with a Oculus Rift or Oculus Go with the VR Program Director of the Free Library of Philadelphia

BYO laptop if you wish to partake in coding activities during the event!

Zip Code Wilmington Is Developing A First-of-Its Kind Youth Coding Movement called Innovation and Outreach Powered by Zip Code (I/O) to Create A Pipeline of Young Technologists in Delaware

Innovation / Outreach aims to empower future technologists in Delaware through engaging curriculum, supports for schools and educators, and growing work-based learning opportunities that can lead to internships and career opportunities for Delaware youth.

Innovation / Outreach’s youth movement aims to create technologists who will live and work in Delaware and increase the diversity of talent in the local tech community through partnerships with high schools and community program in Delaware.
